Cancellation and Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Command Presence Training. What happens when life gets busy, things come up and you may need to cancel a registration? Below you will find a full explanation of our cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a registration and are within the cancellation window as described below, please contact us so we can work with you to find a solution.

Registration Cancellations / Refunds and Credits

Command Presence Training relies on the services of premium instructors and contractors to deliver courses (that’s legal jargon meaning we spend a lot of money hiring the best!). The successful delivery of those courses depends on our ability to schedule instructors, secure venues, advertise the course, fill seats and prepare materials ahead of time. As such, we must abide by the following restrictions when we provide a refund for a canceled student registration.

Due to the logistics of presenting our multi-day Leading Edge FTO: Putting the “T” Back In FTO, De-Escalation: Strategies for Best Possible Outcomes - Train the Trainer, and Find’em, Hire’em, Keep’em: Gaining the Competitive Edge programs, we require you to request a cancellation no later than 28 days prior to these classes.

Upon check out you will be asked to confirm your understanding of this cancellation policy.

Online Courses

Refunds may be issued for up to 30 days from receipt of payment if course materials have not been accessed.

Multiple-Day Classes

  • 28 days or more -- 100% Refund (minus 2.99% credit card processing fee or $15 invoice fee)
  • Less than 28 days -- 0% Refund

All Other In-Person Courses

  • 14 days or more -- 100% Refund (minus 2.99% credit card processing fee or $15 invoice fee)
  • Less than 14 days -- 0% Refund

Online Courses (Excluding Virtual Academy)

  • 14 days or more -- 100% Refund (minus 2.99% credit card processing fee or $15 invoice fee)

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

No refund will be issued under the following circumstances:

  1. Any registered student fails to attend the course,
  2. A student enrolled in an online course has accessed any of the course materials or a refund has not been requested within 30 days of receipt of payment.


If you need to replace one student with another, please contact us so we can make the transfer for you.

Late Invoice Payments

Beginning January 1, 2023, invoices that are more than 30 days overdue will be assessed a 1% late fee per each month the invoice is overdue.

Course Cancellations and Postponements

Command Presence Training is dedicated to delivering every course as advertised. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it may become necessary to cancel or postpone a course. If this becomes necessary, every effort will be made to communicate that to the registered students in a timely manner. Although such a cancellation is a highly unusual event, Command Presence Training nevertheless reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course for any reason at any time. All students who are registered at the time of cancellation or postponement will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer to the re-scheduled course or to another course of equal value. Credits can be applied to more expensive courses, and you will be billed for the difference.

Although unusual, the instructors who were advertised to instruct a course may change.
