NATIONWIDE CONFERENCES 2024

Converge
Summits

A Symposium on Leadership and Culture for Public Safety Professionals

What Is Converge?

Converge is a 2-day results-focused symposium focused on the following:

  1. Investing in leadership training at all levels (sworn and non-sworn)
  2. Intentionally designing organizational culture
  3. Succession planning

Converge works best when teams come together, regardless of rank, expertise, or role, and focus on developing leadership and an ACTIONABLE culture people understand and can get behind.

You and your community deserve an agency that has extraordinary culture and leaders who are in it for the long haul, this symposium will help you achieve that.

What Will Converge Provide You and Your Agency?

Leadership Training For All Levels

Healthy organizations invest in leadership at all levels, sworn and non-sworn. It is statistically proven that people stay where they are invested, respected and can grow. Pay is not the deciding factor.

An Actionable Plan for Company Culture

Intentionally design your organizations culture and give your people the culture they deserve. Significant shifts don't happen by accident. Culture drives everything.

Help In Succession Planning For Talent

Organizations that thrive and continue to grow over time do so by consistently having the right people in the right places. Cement your legacy and succession plan for talent, not title.

Be THE Agency Everyone Wants To Work For

More and more staff are leaving organizations today for comparable roles where pay is not the primary deciding factor, culture is. People stay where they are valued and invested in.

If you want to be THE agency everyone wants to work for, we believe you must invest in your leadership at every level (sworn and non sworn), design a culture that your people deserve, and cement your legacy by succession planning for talent, not title.

their career. Topics include “leading up”, having difficult conversations, the distinctions

The Transitional Leader: The Art of Multi-Directional Leadership (supervisors). Learn more.

In most organizations the leaders “in the middle” often face unique
challenges. At this level, there are expectations and pressures from subordinates, peers, and senior leaders. This course provides practical tools that will help supervisors discover the art of leading in a multi-directional environment, foster collaboration, building resilient teams, and utilize influence to achieve collective goals.

Not By Chance: The Intentional Senior Leader (senior leaders). Learn more.

Being a great leader does not happen by chance; it’s an intentional process. This course will
provide senior leaders with valuable insight about being an intentional leader. Topics will
include: being the Chief Vision Officer, being the Chief Communication Officer, being a people-
first organization, developing a leadership team, how not to be “that” boss, and unintended
consequences: why words matter.

Extraordinary Culture Through Intentional Design

Today is the day that everyone from all levels of your agency “converge” to intentionally design a culture that employees and the community deserve. Through a highly collaborative small group process, participants will design a “why” based mission statement, identify the fundamental behaviors expected from all employees, and determine how to implement their plan in their agency.
