The Transitional Leader: Leading from the Middle
About This Course
In most organizations, leaders “in the middle” face unique challenges not found elsewhere because they must lead in all directions. At this level, they face expectations and pressures from subordinates, peers, and senior leaders. This course will help supervisors master the art of leading in multidirectional environments, fostering collaboration, building strong teams, and leveraging influence to achieve collective goals.
Through thought-provoking discussions, practical simulations, and hands-on exercises, participants will develop the skills to lead with purpose and deliver presentations with confidence. Focus will be on addressing issues with those above the leader in the chain of command, providing for those below them in the chain of command, and building teams as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Appropriate Audience
This course is designed specifically for current Supervisors (or soon to be supervisors) who are in the “middle” of the organization with a primary focus of leading teams. This course is appropriate for all sworn and professional staff members.
