Dr. John Robison

John serves as the Chairman of the Legislative Committee for the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) and represents District 11 within the organization. He is also a member of the instructor staff for the GACP New Chief’s School. In addition to his work with GACP, John is a professor at both Georgia State University and Reinhardt University, where he shares his extensive knowledge of leadership and public safety.

With a deep passion for leadership development, John has spent years studying effective leadership strategies in both law enforcement and the private sector. As a Public Safety Chief, his leadership philosophy centers on transformational leadership - an approach that emphasizes inspiring others, fostering a sense of value among team members, and creating a purpose-driven organizational culture.

John firmly believes that great leadership is about those you lead.
